Nikea Rae (Carroll) Brown

Nikea Brown, 46, of Coshocton passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at her home surrounded by family and friends.  She was born in Coshocton, OH on February 13, 1977.

She graduated from River View High School and worked for ITM for the past 7 years. Nikea loved being outdoors, kayaking. hanging with her friends and watching the Pittsburg Steelers with her sons. For anyone that knew her, knew that she loved “loud” colors, she always had fun clothes, nails, and hair that fit her personality perfectly.

Nikea is survived by her sons, Dylan (Brittany) Brown and Tommy (Tori) Wright both of Coshocton; mother Lisa (Moore) Sparger; siblings Lilli (Jorge Lopez) Carroll, Tara (Jason) Miller, Cody Wright, Calli Sparger and Luke Carroll; best friends Tara Harper, Jodi Bechtol, Nikia Campbell, and Laken Young; and several nieces and nephews.

Nikea is preceded in death by her son, Gunnar Wright, who passed away May 14, 2023; husband Jamie Brown; father Mark Carroll; step mother Jandee Carroll; and grandparents Dick and Diane Moore.

Calling hours will be held at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main Street Coshocton, Ohio 43812 on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 from 11:00am – 1:00pm.  A cremation will take place following the calling hours.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be directed towards the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
