Life Legacy

Agnes C. McCormick, 89, of West Lafayette passed away at Aultman Hospital in Canton on Wednesday May 25, 2011. Agnes was born to the late Walter B. and Bertha (Trump) Gallaher in Spring Valley, PA on September 6, 1921. She was a member of the West Lafayette First Baptist Church. Agnes is survived by her husband Robert S. McCormick; daughters Monta Papadopoulos and Carol E. Pegg both of Canton; son Carl G. (Mary) McCormick of St. Louis, MO; stepchildren Allen (Dixie) McCormick of West Lafayette, Janet (Jim) Hartstine of Warsaw, Robert (Johnna) McCormick and Carol (Dean) Wears both of West Lafayette; two grandchildren; eight step grandchildren; three great grandchildren; several step great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her son Stanley R. Lescallett; nine brothers and eight sisters. Friends may call at the West Lafayette First Baptist Church, 688 E. Main St., West Lafayette on Friday May 27, 2011 from 5-7 PM and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Funeral services for Agnes will be held at the church on Saturday starting at 1:00 PM with Pastor David Kraft officiating. Interment will follow in Fairfield Cemetery, West Lafayette.
