Alberta "Birdie" M. Swigert

Alberta “Birdie” M. Swigert, 84, of Coshocton passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.  She was born in Coshocton on February 21, 1934 to the late Hazel and Charles Middaugh.

She spent all of her life as a homemaker for her six children.  She enjoyed playing cards, working on puzzles, gardening, and working in her flowerbeds.

Birdie is survived by her children, Susan Johnson, Michael Walters, Linda (Denny) Guilliams, and Douglas Walters all of Coshocton; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Swigert; sons Terry and Mark Walters; granddaughter; and several siblings.

Friends may call at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton, Ohio 43812 on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 from 11:00am-1:00pm with funeral services beginning at 1:00pm with Pastor Mark Granger officiating.  Burial will follow at Franklin Cemetery.
