Biography

Alverta M. Cain, 85, of Coshocton passed away at Coshocton County Memorial Hospital on Sunday March 11, 2012. Alverta was born in Coshocton County on September 6, 1926 to the late Otto and Katherine (Limbacher) Marhofer. She is survived by her son Ross H. Cain of Coshocton; three brothers Vearl Marhofer of Coshocton, Marion (Betty) Marhofer of Pearl and Lyle (Linda) Marhofer of Sugarcreek; one sister Arlene Leindecker of Walnut Hills; several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Clifford Cain and sister Wilma Leindecker. Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Sunday March 18, 2012 from 2-4 PM. Funeral services for Alverta will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 11:00 AM with Lloyd Tenney officiating. Interment will follow in Fairfield Cemetery, West Lafayette.
