Amanda Cottrill

Amanda Cottrill, age 34, of West Lafayette, passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022, at Mount Carmel East in Columbus, Ohio. She was born on August 20, 1987, in Coshocton, to Rose Mary (Bradford) Phillabaum and the late Daniel Lee Bisel. She was a 2006 graduate of River View High School. On June 27, 2008, she married Brandon Cottrill, who survives. Amanda was a stay-at-home mother, taking care of their daughter, Kaylee. She enjoyed going on walk and bike rides with her daughter and spending time outside. As an active family they loved going to the park and zoo.

Along with her husband and mother, she is survived by her daughter, Kaylee; stepfather, Chester R. Phillabaum Jr.; brother, Fred L. Bisel; stepbrothers, David J. Phillabaum and Colt M. Phillabaum and special grandmother, Louise Phillabaum as well as several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Brianna Rose and grandparents.

Calling hours will be at the Miller Funeral Home on Friday, March 4, 2022, from 11am to 1pm. The funeral service will be at the funeral home beginning at 1pm with Pastor Steve Young officiating. Burial will follow at Fairfield Cemetery in West Lafayette.
