Biography
Barbara D. Cox, 61, of Coshocton, died on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 in The Ohio State University Hospital. She was born in Coshocton on March 7, 1952 to the late Al and Betty (Seward) Cox.
Barbara graduated from Coshocton High School and was employed as a cook for many years by Granny's Country Kitchen in Warsaw, Ohio. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Coshocton, and spent time with her neighbors playing card games and attending social events at the Commons in Coshocton.
Barbara is survived by two children; Jess (Rachel) Thomason of Coshocton and Rose Thomason of Connecticut, two grandchildren Keira Thomason and Heath Thomason, three brothers; Steve (Linda) Cox, Mike (Loretta) Cox, Bill (Jodi) Cox, one sister; Nonie Ryan, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering will be held for Barbara by her family at a later date. The family would like to extend their appreciation for the care and support given to them by the staff on the surgical intensive care unit at the Ohio State University Hospital. Miller Funeral Home in Coshocton is serving the family.
