Barbara Jean Bryant

Barbara Jean Bryant, 92, of Coshocton passed away at Lafayette Pointe Nursing Home in West Lafayette on Thursday December 17, 2020.

She was born in Coshocton, Ohio on February 29, 1928 to the late David and Evelyn (Banks) Thomson.  Barbara graduated from Coshocton High School, retired from Shaw Barton after 28 years and was a member of the Dresden 1st Baptist Church.

Barbara is survived by her son in law Jim Holdsworth of Zanesville; granddaughters Lori (Larry) Monroy of Coshocton, Amy (Rich) Lawrence of Westerville, OH, and Valerie (Eric) Shivers of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; great grandchildren Jennifer, Jessica and Jacqueline Monroy, Anthony Portillo, Lexy and Lyla Lawrence, Conner and Zachary MacDonald, and Makenna and Gage Brown; one great great granddaughter Madison Jones.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband James G. Bryant, and daughter Brenda D. Holdsworth who passed away in 2016.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton, on Monday December 21, 2020 from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM where funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM with Pastor Joe Offenberger officiating.  Interment will follow in Coshocton County Memorial Gardens.

Due to COVID19, visitors coming to the funeral home are required to wear their own face masks at all times.
