Barbara Smith

Barbara L. Smith, 78, of Andover formerly of Coshocton passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Ashtabula County Medical Center in Ashtabula, Ohio.  She was born in Coshocton on March 19, 1942 to the late John and Mildred (Dickerson) Smith.

Barbara was a graduate of Coshocton High School and worked for many years at Gross Discount and then went on to work at Ansel Edmont’s before retiring.  She loved her cats, crocheting, and spending time with her nieces and nephews.

Barbara is survived by her sister Betty (Jack) Hawthorne of Coshocton; brothers John (Doris) Smith and Gary (Linda) Smith both of Coshocton; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her infant sister, Bonnie.

Graveside services will be held at Prairie Chapel Cemetery, Coshocton on Monday November 30, 2020 at 11:00am with Pastor Mark Granger officiating.
