Barbara Ann Thompkins

Barbara Ann (Moore) Thompkins, age 74, a lifelong resident of Warsaw Ohio, was born October 10, 1943 in Millersburg Ohio, one of six children born to Charles Lee and Margaret (AuFrance) Moore of Blissfield.   Barbara died November 19, 2017 at Coshocton Regional Medical Center as a result of complications from an extended illness.

Barbara was a 1961 graduate of Blissfield High School, was a member of Gospel hill Ministry, and had worked for the Coshocton County EMS, Bakers IGA and Muscle Menders throughout her life.

She was a loving and loyal wife to husband James Craig Thompkins during a marriage lasting over 50 years until James death in 2014.  She continued to be, and was, a loving, loyal and dedicated mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by two daughters, Renee Harrison and Rhonda Thompkins of Coshocton; grandchildren Michael Hoy of Groveport, Alexander Lee of Columbus, Breann Lee of Romeoville, Illinois and Cheyenne Harrison of Coshocton as well as a great granddaughter, Allison Rigel Hoy; sister Candy Spangler; brother Rodger Moore; sister in law Marcia Shaw and brother in law Stephen Thompkins.

Along with her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her daughter Rigel; two brothers Spunk and J.R. Moore and sister Jeannie Gardner.

Friends and family may call at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main Street, Coshocton, Ohio on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 from 11:00am – 1:00pm with Pastor Ron Davis officiating.  Interment will follow at the Canal Lewisville Cemetery
