Betty L. Bercot

Betty L. Bercot, 81, of Coshocton, OH went to be with her Lord on Sunday August 28, 2011 at Lafayette Pointe Nursing Home, West Lafayette, OH. Betty was born in Greenville, OH on August 22, 1930 to the late Luther and Lydia (Spencer) Dixon. She attended the Coshocton Church of the Nazarene, enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing, crafts and traveling. Survived by her husband Kenneth E. Bercot, whom she married on September 20, 1947; two daughters Shirley (Jerry) Fitch and Nancy (David Drake Sr.) Boerger all of Coshocton; son Ed (Jessie) Bercot of West Lafayette; two brothers Cecil (Lydia) Dixon of WY and Donald (Margret) Dixon of Coshocton; sister Ruby (Glen) Masters of Fresno, OH; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her daughters Doris Stiers and Donna Bercot; two brothers Robert and Pete Dixon; three sisters Opal Collins, Hazel Minich, Norma Masters and infant sister Mary Lou Dixon. Friends may call at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton, on Thursday September 1, 2011 from 12-2 PM where funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM with Pastor Steve Young officiating. Interment will follow in Coshocton County Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be directed to Health Services of Coshocton County, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
