William A. "Bill" Wiggins, 75, of West Lafayette passed away with his family by his side on Thursday February 23, 2012. Bill was born in West Lafayette on September 20, 1936 to the late Thomas A. and Edna Wiggins. He served in the US Army, worked for Clow Water Systems and retired from Peabody Coal. Bill attended the Russell Ave. Church of Christ, was a member of the V.F.W. 1330, Newcomerstown Elks Lodge and Eagles. He loved spending time with his family, sports, hunting and was known for his wine making. Bill is survived by his wife Donna M. Wiggins, who he married December 27, 1958; three daughters Kathi (Bob) Crown, Karen (Joe) Weaver and Kristi (Roger) Boatman all of Coshocton; a sister Bonnie Duhamel of Jackson, Ohio; grandchildren Laren (Rusty) Morris, Laiken (Wayne) Guider, Shelby Weaver, Dane Weaver and Ryan (Nena) Boatman; great grandchildren Brianna, Skylynn, Cole, Collin and Josie; several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, Bill is preceded in death by his granddaughter Nikkalee Boatman, who passed away in 2006; brothers in law Kenny Duhamel and Carl Bates; sister in law Edith Bates. Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Sunday February 26, 2012 from 2-5 PM and one hour prior to the service on Monday. Funeral services for Bill will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM with Lloyd Tenney and Floyd Bates officiating. Coshocton County Veterans Council will perform military honors at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to Health Services of Coshocton County, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
