Bob W Baker

Robert W. "Bob" Baker, 77, of Coshocton passed away at Coshocton County Memorial Hospital on Monday December 5, 2011. Bob was born in Roscoe on September 27, 1934 to the late Lester and Thelma M. (Brown) Baker. He served in the US Navy, was a member of the American Legion, Moose and Amvets. Bob was a member of the Coshocton County Honor Guard having participated in 911 military funeral services since 1977. He is survived by his daughter Waneita Baker of West Lafayette; sons Michael and Robert Baker both of West Lafayette; grandchildren David and Rickey Baker, Emily, Caleb and Ondrea Umstotts, Jasmine and Jessica Russell; great grandson Bentley; an ex wife Janet M. Baker of West Lafayette and long time good friend Betty Craigo of Coshocton. Along with his parents, Bob is preceded in death by his step father George H. Lapp. Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Thursday December 8, 2011 from 10AM -12 PM. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 PM with Pastor Don Dolick officiating. Interment will follow in South Lawn Cemetery where Coshocton County Veterans Council will perform military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be to the Coshocton County Veterans Council Rifle Fund, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
