Bonner P. “Pat” Snedden, 81, of Coshocton passed away at Oak Pointe Nursing Home on Tuesday October 24, 2017. Pat was born in Coshocton, Ohio on September 19, 1936 to the late Robert and Nancy (Groghan) Snedden.
He graduated from Coshocton High School and retired from Clow Water Systems as a machinist. Pat was a member of the Roscoe United Methodist Church, taught swimming and life saving classes for the Red Cross and was a Scout Master for Troop #405 receiving the “Silver Beaver Award.”
Pat is survived by his wife Carolyn (Miller) Snedden whom he married September 2, 1956; five children Daniel Snedden of Lancaster, Sharon (Fred) Babbert of Johnstown, Krista (Greg) Cooper of Cedartown, GA, Susan Benson of Carbondale, IL and Jill Snedden of LaHore, Pakistan; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
Along with his parents, Pat is preceded in death by his brother Robert Snedden and son in law Allen Benson.
Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton, on Sunday October 29, 2017 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM and one hour prior to the funeral on Monday. Funeral services for Pat will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 1:00 PM with Pastor Dale Sutton officiating. Interment will follow in South Lawn Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Roscoe United Methodist Church, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
