Bonnie Bryant

January 17, 1948 — March 13, 2025

Bonnie C. Bryant, 77, of Coshocton, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, peacefully departed this life on March 13, 2025, at her home with her loving family by her side.

She was born in Coshocton on January 17, 1948, to the late William A. and Donna M. (Jones) Richard Sr.

Bonnie's life was a tapestry woven with threads of love, commitment, and an unyielding spirit. After graduating in the last class of Three Rivers School in 1965, she ventured into her career, beginning at General Electric, then Procare Vision, and ultimately retiring as a loan officer with Bank One in Coshocton. Her professionalism and dedication were evident in her roles; yet, it was her spirit of service that truly shone as she volunteered her time and compassion at Coshocton County EMS as an EMT.

She cherished the role of wife and homemaker. With grace and devotion, she raised her children—Renee Fleming and Jason Bryant—and relished every moment spent with her grandchildren, Seth Fleming, Zachary Bryant, and Zane Bryant. Family was her proudest accomplishment, and her heart overflowed with love for each member.

Bonnie possessed a vibrant personality and a zest for life, engaging in hobbies that brought her joy. She enjoyed playing games, from cards and dominoes to bowling and archery, and took pride in creating beautiful wreaths at home. Her fighting spirit was particularly evident in her battle against cancer; she faced her illness with the same strength she had infused into every area of her life.

Bonnie is survived by her beloved husband, John R. Bryant whom she married June 14, 1965, her daughter Renee Fleming, and her son Jason (Kristy) Bryant both of Coshocton, along with her cherished grandchildren Seth Fleming, Zachary (Liberty McFadden) Bryant, and Zane Bryant. She also leaves behind her brother, William A. (Cynthia) Richard Jr. of Coshocton and several nieces and nephews.

Bonnie will be reunited in spirit with her parents, William A. Richard Sr. and Donna M. Richard, along with her late grandson, Evan Fleming, and her brother, Robert Richard.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Monday March 17, 2025, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
