Brenda L Grewell

Brenda L. Grewell, 60 of Newcomerstown passed away at her residence with her family by her side on Monday January 17, 2022, after an extended illness.

Brenda was born on March 22, 1961, to the late William and Nellie Louise (Hammersley) Kemp.  She worked several places throughout her life and sixteen years at Lafayette Meadows in West Lafayette.  Brenda was a member of the Newcomerstown Elks and Moose Lodge.  She treasured spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her devoted husband of thirty-nine years, Doug W. Grewell; children Becky Grewell of Newcomerstown, D.J Grewell of Newcomerstown and Julie Grewell of SC; grandchildren Makyia Napier, Kyle Donnelly, Liam Donnelly, Rylynn Vargo, Brooklynn Grimsley, Jonathan Grewell and Joclynn Grewell; two great grandchildren Aleigha and Landon Medley; one brother Bill Hutchinson of Coshocton; several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister Becky Hughes.

Per Brenda’s wishes, a cremation will take place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
