Carl E. Wisecarver, 89, of Coshocton passed away at Coshocton Springs Care Center on May 12, 2019.
Carl was born in Sonora, Ohio on April 25, 1930 to the late John and Laura (Badgett) Wisecarver. He was a truck driver for many years for several different trucking companies in Coshocton. He was a member of the Coshocton AMVETS; enjoyed watching dirt track racing, NASCAR, Cleveland Indians, The Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns.
He is survived by his wife Joann (Sarchet) Wisecarver; children Gloria Cooperider of Adamsville, Linda (Rick) Stevens of Newcomerstown and Gary Wisecarver of Norwich; four grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; two sisters Janice Graham of Adamsville and Betty (Walt) Chodykin of WA; several nieces and nephews; special canine companion “Toby”.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers Chester, Bobby and Donald Wisecarver; sister Sarah Whiteman; one infant brother and sister.
Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Wednesday May 15, 2019 from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM where a memorial service will begin at 3:00 PM with Mark Granger officiating.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Community Hospice of Coshocton, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
