Carol Mae Ile

July 27, 1938 — January 15, 2018

Carol M. Ile, 79, of Dover, formerly of Marlboro, Ohio passed away at The Truman House Hospice in New Philadelphia on Monday January 15, 2018.

Carol was born on July 27, 1938 in Patton, Pennsylvania to the late Edward and Mable (Fitzpatrick) Brown.

She graduated from Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary High School and was a homemaker throughout her life; in her earlier years with her husband Stanley, they enjoyed collecting and dealing in antiques.  Carol also loved quilting, attending her grandchildren’s events, the Cleveland Indians and Ohio State Football.  Carol and her husband also treasured their summers at Atwood Lake and winters in Florida.

She is survived by her four children Andrea (John) Hreha of Dover, Amy (Ron) Borton of Coshocton, Matthew (Lisa) Ile and Jason (Tracy) Ile both of N. Canton; grandchildren Aaron (Nikki) Hreha, Ashley (Jay) Miller, Geoffrey Hreha, Lila and Hannah Borton, Cole and McKenzie Ile, Jaren, Addison and Caleb Ile; great grandchildren Reese and Regan Hreha and Gatlin Miller; brother Edward (Maureen) Brown of Copley, OH; sister Karen (Phil) Otanicar of Chicago, IL; numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Stanley P. Ile whom passed away November 6, 1998, Carol and Stanley were married on May 28, 1960.

A Funeral Mass celebrating Carol’s life will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 805 Main St., Coshocton on Thursday January 18, 2018 at 10:30 AM with Father Victor Wesolowski officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Community Hospice, 716 Commercial Ave., SW, New Philadelphia, OH  44663, envelopes will be available at the church.
