Carol A Lockard

Carol Ann Lockard, 85, of West Lafayette, was reunited with her husband George in heaven on the morning of August 24, 2022. She went peacefully in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and family.

Carol was born in Newcomerstown on July 4, 1937, to the late Harold and Elsie Lehman.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband George; parents; grandson Sammy Walters; brother-in-law Bob Wilcox; and dog Ruby.

She is survived by her sister Judy Wilcox; son Tom (Marcie) Lockard; daughter Debbie Wilkin; daughter Kim (Mike) Moore; and an ever-growing number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Carol had many interests and hobbies. Her hobbies included crocheting, knitting, and sewing. She loved collecting spoons from all around the world and making various cherished pieces for family and close friends. Carol’s garden was always a sight to behold. She took great pride in making her house a home to her family.

Graveside funeral services for Carol will be held on Saturday August 27, 2022, at 3:00 PM at Fairview Cemetery, Fresno with Pastor Sharon Kirch officiating.
