Carol J. Madison

Carol J. Madison, 78, of Coshocton passed away Monday October 3, 2016 at Walnut Grove Health and Rehabilitation in Coshocton.  She was born in Coshocton on September 27, 1938 to the late Cecil and Elva (Henderson) Wilson.

Carol worked as a bus aid for Hopewell and was a member of the Coshocton Eagles Lodge. She enjoyed reading, playing bingo, and sitting outside with friends and family.

She is survived by her son Scott (Judy) Madison of West Lafayette; daughters Denise Dewitt and Dawn (Paul) Phillabaum both of Coshocton; grandchildren Jeffrey Madison Jr, Jamie (Bobby) Crozier, Brandi (Aaron) Tipton, Ryan (Christa) Dewitt, Derrick (Courtney) Phillabaum, Scotty Madison, Devan Sickles, Jodi McNichols, Heather (Scott) Walker; great grandchildren Cody, Alissa, Erin, Ashley, Taylor, and Destanee Madison,  Brandon, Laiken and Kylee Crozier, Kara, Arron, and Jeffery and Tina Tipton, and Sara, Kaden, Chase, and Camrin Dewitt, Emalin and Braidy Phillabaum, and Aaron Getchy; sisters Sue Darr Sharon Maston; sister-in-law Donna Corbet; great – great grandchildren Levi, Novalee, Colton, Gage, Brayson, Kielee and Kynlee; daughter-in-law Jayne Lynn Madison; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Donald “Deacon” Madison; son Jeffery Madison; two brothers and four sisters; great granddaughter Kaylee McNichols; and two brother-in-laws.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Wednesday October 5, 2016 from 6:00Pm – 8:00PM with one hour prior to the funeral service.  Funeral services for Carol will be Thursday at 11:00AM with Pastor Stan Braxton officiating.  Burial will follow at South Lawn Cemetery.

Memorial contributions can be directed towards Walnut Grove Health and Rehabilitation and/or Health Services of Coshocton County “Hospice”, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

After the committal service at South Lawn Cemetery, friends and family are invited back to the Coshocton Eagles lodge for some time of food and fellowship.
