Caroline June Wolfe

June 4, 1935 — November 19, 2015

Caroline J. Wolfe, 80, of Bakersville passed away on Thursday November 19, 2015 at Lafayette Pointe Nursing Home in West Lafayette.

She was born at home in Bakersville on June 4, 1935 to the late William and Edith (Degen) Regula. Caroline was a graduate of Newcomerstown High School and on June 8, 1957 she married E. Gene Wolfe.  Together they raised four children. Caroline loved flower gardens and cooking, but most importantly she loved the Lord and her family.  When it was announced that Hospice would be assisting her, approximately seventy of her closest friends and family gathered on Sunday, November 15, 2015 to celebrate her life with her and to sing hymns and Christmas carols with the Bakersville Presbyterian Church Choir.

Caroline is survived by her children Susan (Chris) Shuck, Terry (Ruth) Wolfe, and Tammy (Donnie) Neighbor; grandchildren Amanda and Alana Wolfe and Dylan and Brooklyn Neighbor; sisters Norma McClure and Luella John; two special nieces Deena McClure Gray and Cindy McClure; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Gene; son Bill; and grandson Ethan Neighbor.

Funeral services for Caroline will be held at the Bakersville Presbyterian Church, 28164 CR 97, Bakersville on Saturday November 21, 2015 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Rod McBride officiating.  Burial will follow in Bakersville Cemetery.

Memorial contributions can be directed towards the Bakersville Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 3011, Bakersville, Ohio  43803 and/or Health Services of Coshocton County “Hospice”, 230 S. 4th St., Coshocton, Ohio  43812, envelopes will also be available at the church.
