Carolyn E Snedden

August 21, 1937 — March 11, 2021

Carolyn E. Snedden, 83, of Coshocton passed away at Signature Healthcare, Coshocton on Thursday, March 11, 2021.  She was born in Coshocton on August 21, 1937 to the late Arthur and Opal (Hiser) Miller.

Carolyn was a graduate from Coshocton High School and married Bonner “Patrick” Snedden on September 2, 1956.  She was the Executive Director at the American Red Cross in Coshocton for 19 years where she received the Clara Barton award.  Carolyn started the AIDS task force in Coshocton with the American Red Cross.  She was also member of Roscoe United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women.  Carolyn taught and directed swimming and life-saving classes for the American Red Cross for 30 years, helped with Safety City and volunteered for the Hope Clinic in Coshocton.

She is survived by her children Sharon (Fred) Babbert of Johnstown, OH, Krista (Greg) Cooper of Cedartown, GA, Susan Benson of Carbondale, IL, and Jill Snedden of Bahrain; five grandchildren Ali (Jenna) Snedden, Hannah Cooper, Kendra Cooper, Oliver Cooper and A.P. Benson; two great grandchildren Jessica and Elijah Snedden.

Along with her parents, Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband Bonner “Patrick” Snedden who passed away on October 24, 2017; son Daniel Snedden; brother Kenneth W. Miller and son in law Alan Benson.

Friends may call at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main Street Coshocton, Ohio on Monday from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM where funeral services for Carolyn will begin at 12:00 PM noon with Pastor Dale Sutton officiating.  Internment will follow in South Lawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Roscoe United Methodist Church, 457 Hill St., Coshocton, OH 43812; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
