Cecil Wayne Hoffstatter

Cecil Wayne Hoffstatter, age 86, of Coshocton, passed away, Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at his home. He was born on September 22, 1935, in Jackson Township, Coshocton to the late Ina Bell (Dickerson) Hoffstatter and Henry A. Clark. He enlisted in the United State Airforce on February 24, 1953, serving in the Far East and Labradore, attaining the rank of Sergeant. He was a truck driver for Farimont Foods, Trans-Service, Beautemiller and Ross Bros Co.

Cecil is survived by his daughters, Linda Putman and Cheryl (Bill) Hardesty; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild as well as his beloved dog and two cats.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Eleanor “Mitzie”; one brother, one sister and one nephew.

Per his wishes, a cremation will take place with the Miller-Kaser Cremation Services. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, January 2, 2021, at 3pm at the Eagles Lodge Club in Coshocton. A private burial will follow at a later date.
