Charles "Charlie" R Banks

Charles “Charlie” R. Banks, 85, of Coshocton passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at his home.  He was born in Coshocton, OH on January 18, 1937 to the late John and Elsie (Moore) Banks.

Charlie served in the United States Navy and was a truck driver for 45 years. He enjoyed shopping at Rural King and loved to cook.

He is survived by his wife, Bette (Sims) Banks, who he married December 31, 1998; children James (Jodi) Banks, Cassandra Banks, Stacey (Scott) Jordan, and Carla Jean Mustard; multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister Charlotte Banks; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his siblings John Jr., James and Robert Banks, Rosemary Scheetz, and Pansy VanValien.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Franklin Cemetery at 1:00pm. The Coshocton County Honor Guard will be performing military honors. The Miller Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.

Memorial contributions can be directed towards Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
