Christopher R. “Chris” Matthews, 28, of Coshocton passed away on Sunday December 21, 2014. Chris was born in Coshocton on March 9, 1986.
He attended Coshocton High School, was an avid reader and cherished spending time with his children. Chris was a member of the Sons of the American Legion and Union Millwright Local #1090.
He is survived by his parents Rollin and Megan Matthews of Coshocton; his children Caden Lee, Brailee M. and Christopher R. Matthews; a sister Tia (Brian) Bookless of Coshocton; brother Craig E. (Tia Moore) Matthews of Mt. Vernon; grandmothers Jean (Logan) Burris Jr. of Coshocton and Charlotte A. Love of Coshocton; several nieces and nephews.
Chris is preceded in death by his grandfather Clarence L. Matthews.
Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Monday December 29, 2014 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM where funeral services will begin at 12:00 PM Noon with Pastor Mark Granger officiating.
Interment will follow in South Lawn Cemetery.
