Clarence A. Fortune, 70 of Conesville passed away at his residence on Thursday June 19, 2014.
Clarence was born to the late Ford and Goldie (Randles) Fortune in Coshocton County on February 22, 1944.
He had graduated from Keene High School and retired from Rice & Chadwick Rubber Company after thirty six years of service.
Clarence is survived by his wife Sandy Fortune who he married April 6, 1963; two sons Robert E. Fortune of Coshocton and Clarence (Susan) Fortune Jr. of SC; two daughters Kaye Darr and Faye Fortune both of Coshocton; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a brother Paul Fortune of Mifflin, OH; three sisters Dolores (Ken) Norman of Mt. Eaton, OH, Shirley Sellers of Wooster and Martha (Bob) Thomas of Jeromesville, OH; several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his two brothers Johnny and George Fortune; one sister Irene Bookman.
Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Monday June 23, 2014 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM where a funeral service will begin at 7:00 PM with Pastor Jason Diaz officiating. A cremation will take place after calling hours and burial of Clarence’s cremated remains will follow in South Lawn Cemetery.
