Cody A. Maloy, 25, of West Lafayette passed away on Thursday March 27, 2014.
Cody was born in Cambridge on September 1, 1988. He graduated from Ridgewood High School in 2007 and Hobart Welding as a Certified Welder and was currently working at Tremcar in Strasburg as a Welder and Foreman. Cody loved hunting, fishing, riding dirt bikes and four wheelers, teaching his son to motor cross race and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his fiancée Amanda Pepping; son Wyette A. Maloy; mother Donette (Dan) Belt of West Lafayette; father Harry A. Maloy of Newcomerstown; grandparents Greg and Sue Randles of Cooperdale and Tom Gallagher of West Lafayette; sister Kylie Maloy of Uhrichsville; step brother Hunter Belt of Bakersville; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Cody is preceded in death by his grandparents Dave and Linda Maloy. Friend may call at The Miller Funeral Home on Tuesday April 1, 2014 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
Funeral services for Cody will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Dan Eggan officiating. Interment will follow in Fairfield Cemetery, West Lafayette.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
