Credia Stevens
August 29, 1941 — June 19, 2013
Credia Stevens, 71, of Coshocton passed away at Coshocton County Memorial Hospital on Wednesday June 19, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Credia was born in Devils Hole, West Virginia on August 29, 1941 to the late Basil C. and Maggie B. (Duff) Lanham.
She is survived by her husband Jim “JR” Stevens; seven children Pam (Christine) Hall, Bo Carter, Paul (Sylvia Roberts) Nelson, Wanda Spinks, Ronnie (Dee) Shryock, Murl Shryock and Tammie Shryock all of Coshocton; twenty four grandchildren; thirty three great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; one brother Basil Leroy Lanham of Coshocton; mother in law Harriett Wyle of Coshocton; several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her infant daughter Paulette Nelson; one brother Henry Lanham; two sisters Leona Booth and Florence McDonald.
Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Saturday from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM where funeral services will begin at 4:00 PM with Pastor Sharon Kirch and Pastor David Wyle officiating. A cremation will take place after funeral services.
