Curtis "Fathead "Alan Alford. 71 of Coshocton, passed away on Tuesday October 15, 2024, at Genesis Hospital after a long, fought illness. He was born on January 1, 1953, in Coshocton to the late Chalmus L. H. Alford and Kathryn (Wilson) Alford, who survives. He spent most of his working career driving semi-trucks for his father and later in life had a variety of jobs. He was very outgoing with a curmudgeon like personality and enjoyed his daily spot in his later years at the Eagles. He was very passionate about motorcycles and the people and the community that came with it. He also enjoyed collecting guns and watching NASCAR. He got his nickname as a teenager and has been known as Fathead for over 50 years.

Along with his mother, he is survived by his siblings, Harlene (Paul) Wolfe of Coshocton, Lawrence Alford of Coshocton, Marie (Kenneth) Alexander of Howard and Jeannine Mayberry of Coshocton as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and many good friends.

As per his wishes, a cremation will take place with the Miller-Kaiser Cremation Services. Calling hours will be at The Miller Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 from 5pm to 6pm. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home at 6pm. Burial will be in South Lawn Cemetery at a later date.
