Dale Allen Wilson

December 5, 1940 — August 6, 2021

Dale Allen Wilson Sr., 80, of port Washington passed away Friday, August 6, 2021at the Truman Hospice House in New Philadelphia, Ohio. He was born in Newcomerstown, Ohio on December 5, 1940 to the late Verlie Dale and Gladys Leona (Opphile) Wilson.

Dale graduated from Roscoe High School and received his associates degree from Wittenburg University. He was a foreman at St. Regis Papermill for 22 years and drove school bus for 28 years for the Ridgewood Local School District.  He was also a 50 year member of the Blue Ridge Grange and was an avid Baptist.  He enjoyed camping and farming.

Dale is survived by his wife, Jean (Wycoff) Wilson, who he married June 22, 1990; children Debra K. Chapman, Brenda S. Hogue, and Dale Wilson Jr.; stepchildren Joshua Howell and Katherine (Ben) Steinberger; ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his brother Gerald Wilson.

Friends may call at the Miller funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton, Ohio 43812 on Wednesday August 11, 2021 from 10:00am-11:00am with funeral services beginning at 11:00am with Pastor Dan Eggan officiating.  Burial will follow at Canal Lewisville Cemetery.
