Dalene K. Shalosky, 71, of Coshocton passed away at Coshocton Health and Rehabilitation on Sunday February 26, 2012 after a long battle with cancer. Dalene was born in New Philadelphia on October 18, 1940. She was a active member of The Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her two sons Jim (Lynn) Sandry of Norcross, GA and Tom (Marcia) Sandry of Huntersville, NC; two step daughters Karen (Brian) Blackwelder of Jacksonville, FL and Julie Zeigler of Canton; step son Dan Shalosky of Reno, NV; grandchildren Steve, Matt, Michael, Megan and Luke; step grandchildren Elizabeth, Anna, Derek, Kayla and Aadan; aunt Melva (Kenneth) Zimmerman of New Philadelphia. Dalene is preceded in death by her mother Inez Ripley; husbands Jim S. Sandry and Bill Shalosky. Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Thursday March 1, 2012 from 5-8 PM and one hour prior to the funeral service at the church on Friday. Funeral services for Dalene will be held at The Presbyterian Church, 142 N. 4th St., Coshocton on Friday at 11:00 AM with Rev. Jonathan T. Carlisle officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to The Presbyterian Church Abiding Fund, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
