David A. Buker, 68, of Coshocton passed away Thursday September 29, 2016 at Coshocton Springs Health and Rehabilitation. He was born in Coshocton on March 4, 1948 to the late Forrest and Mary (Stiner) Buker.
David was a 1966 graduate of Coshocton High School, was a member of the Coshocton Church of the Nazarene and Ohio National Guard from 1968-1979. He retired from AK Steel in 2006. He loved fishing, woodworking, and spending time with his grandkids.
David is survived by his loving wife, Diane (Mullett) Buker, whom he married November 3, 1968; son David Buker Jr.; daughter Dionne (Ron) Ostrander; grandsons David III, Chris, Dylan, Ryan; sister Amy (Gary) Scott; brother Bud (Beth) Buker; sister-in-law Denise (Bruce) Holcomb; brother-in-law Jack (Bobbie) Landon, Lynn (Terri) Mullett, and Gene (Janel) Mullett; step mother-in-law Ruth Mullett; step sister-in-law Wilma (Gerald) Williamson; and step- brother-in-law Willard (Kay) Eltringham.
Along with his parents, David is preceded in death by his mother-in-law Gloria Landon; father-in-law Chester Mullett; sisters Linda Buker and Diana Michaels; and brother-in-law Jim Michaels.
Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Tuesday October 4, 2016 from 11:00AM – 1:00PM with funeral services beginning at 1:00PM with Pastor Dave Boots and Pastor Bill Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens.
Memorial contributions can be made towards the Coshocton County Animal Shelter and/or Interim Healthcare “Hospice”; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
