David Stewart Mchenry

July 24, 1954 — August 29, 2021

David Stewart McHenry, age 67, of Coshocton, passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at his home. He was born on July 24, 1954 to Ted and Joan (Hill) McHenry in Dennison, Ohio. He was a 1972 graduate of Cambridge High School. He was a United States Army Veteran. He worked as a mechanic and later worked with ceramics at Three Rivers Pottery. David was an avid sports fan, supporting the OSU Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing. On April 19, 2001, he married Michelle (Sturtz) McHenry, who survives.

David is survived by his wife and mother and children, Zack McHenry of Byesville, Amber (Robert) Bates of Coshocton, Richard (Michelle DeBoard) Hawthorne of Coshocton; grandchildren, Hallie (Thomas) Davis, Brittleigh and Blake Bates; sisters, Sharon (John) Luskevich of Cambridge, Beth (Greg) Clark of Coshocton and Amy (Steve) Hamilton of Coshocton; nieces and newphews, Jennifer (Scott) Nelson, John-Michael Luskevich, Adam (Carrie) Clark, Abby Clark and Lacey (Andrew) Vickers and several great nieces and nephews.

Along with his father, he is preceded in death by his grandparents, George (Silence) Hill and Fern McHenry; sister, Becky Lowe; niece, Ashley Hamilton and nephew, Brock Hamilton.

Calling hours will be at the Miller Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 from 5pm to 8pm. The Coshocton County Veteran Honor Council will be performing Military Honors at 7:45pm. A cremation will follow the services.
