Deminitie "Kay" (Goodman) Cline

Deminitie “Kay” (Goodman) Cline, 68, of Newark, passed away at her home on Wednesday September 14, 2022.

Kay was born on March 31, 1954, to the late Onie Lee Goodman and Shirley (Ellis) Gill.

She loved spending time with her family, friends and caring for animals, especially her feline companions.

Kay is survived by her son Bobby (Erin) Goodman of Dresden; brother James L. Goodman of Columbus; sister Rhonda L. (Charlie) Rodgers of Newark; stepfather Jimmy Gill of Newark; stepsister Roberta Carter Bouvier of Cambridge; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother Shirley Gill; daughter Melissa Kay Smith; husband Roger Lee Smith; sister Vadie “Ann” Lilly Bazler and nephew Justin Goodman.

Per Kay’s wishes, a cremation will take place and a private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
