Denise Dewitt

Denise DeWitt, 65, of Coshocton passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at Altercare of Coshocton surrounded by her family. She was born on December 11, 1958 in Coshocton to the late Donald Deacon and Carol (Wilson) Madison. She was a graduate of Coshocton High School and later worked as an STNA. She enjoyed the simple, slow times such as playing games on her tablet accompanied by a cup of coffee and crackers. You could find her relaxing in her rocking chair on her front porch or getting her ice coffee at McDonalds. When at the beach she enjoyed listing to the ocean waves roll in. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and watching them play sports.

Denise is survived by her two children, Jamie (Bobby) Crozier of Dresden and Ryan (Christa) DeWitt of Coshocton; grandchildren, Brandon (Ciara) Crozier, Laiken and Kylee Crozier, Sara, Kaden, Chase and Camrin DeWitt; great grandchildren, Braysen, Brinlynn, Berkley and Paisley Crozier; siblings, Dawn (Paul) Phillabaum and Soctt (Terri) Madison; aunt Sharon Maston as well as several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and Janelynn Madison.

Calling hours will be at The Miller Funeral Home on Monday, May 6, 2024 from 5pm to 7pm and an hour before the service. The funeral service will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at 11am with Pastor Stan Braxton officiating. Burial will follow at South Lawn Cemetery.
