Dollie M Prater

April 14, 1934 — November 22, 2018

Dollie M. Prater, 84, of Plainfield passed away at the Truman House Hospice in New Philadelphia on Thursday November 22, 2018.

Dollie was born in Kelsa, Virginia on April 14, 1934 to the late George & Winnie (Green) Young.

Along with being a homemaker, Dollie had always worked throughout her life, most recently retiring as manager from the Certified gas station in Newcomerstown.  She also enjoyed crocheting, sewing, quilting, arts, crafts, making jewelry and spending time with her family.

Dollie is survived by husband William “Bill” Prater whom she was married to for forty one years; step sons Glen Lee (Helen) Smith of Newcomerstown and Roger (Tammie) Prater of TN; step daughter Lisa (Manuel) Pineda of Canton; seven grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; brother Marton Young of NC; several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her step daughter Donna Cline; sister Ruby Dotson and Anne Young; two brothers Evans Young and Ersel Young; two grandchildren.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Monday November 26, 2018 from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM where funeral services will begin at 12:00 PM Noon with Pastor Steve Young officiating.  Interment will follow in Plainfield Cemetery.
