Donald Sherrick

Donald Sherrick, 88, previously of California, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Signature Healthcare. He was born on January 15, 1934 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Emerson and Freda (Powelson) Sherrick. While growing up on the farm in Otsego, he traveled to 48 states on family vacations before graduating from New Concord High School. After graduation, he went into the field of silver mines and worked in the states of Arizona, New Mexico and Idaho. He retired from The Harley House Hotel in Death Valley, California. In his younger years, he liked to build electronics; recently his hobbies included playing the guitar and keyboard.

Donald is survived by his daughter, Marie Rivera of Fl.; several grandchildren and siblings, Janet (John) Powell of West Lafayette, Ohio and Linda Lake of Arizona as well as special friend, Sandy McElhaney.

Along with his parents, preceding him in death is his son, Robert Sherrick and sister, Carol Dickey.

No services will be held at this time and a cremation will take place with the Miller-Kaser Cremation Services.
