Donald “Don” Ross, 72, was united with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, October 27, 2022. He was born July 22, 1950 in Coshocton, Ohio to Edward and Charlene Ross.
He was a 1968 graduate of Tri-Valley High School, and received his bachelor's degree in business from Ohio University in 1972. He married Becky Strasser in 1972 also. They were blessed with seven children.
Selene (Troy) Ryan, Chad (Amy) Ross, Timothy (Kirsten) Ross, Joseph Ross, Sarah (Christopher) Harmon, Heidi Ross, Daniel Ross, nine grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
He is also survived by his mother, Charlene Ross and two brothers, James (Betty) Ross and Charles (Gia) Ross.
He worked alongside his Father Edward in the family business, Ross Brothers Trucking in Adams Mills, Ohio for 48 years.
Don loved the Lord Jesus with all his heart and it showed in the way he lived his life. He was a man of integrity and didn’t know an enemy. He lived by the Golden Rule and helped many people along the way. He loved spending time with his family, walking his dog Bella, and a weekly golfing outing with Pastor Jim Gross. He was preceded in death by his Grandparents Charles and Margurite Riley, Grandmother Mildred Ross, Father Edward Ross, Uncles David and James Ross and beautiful nephew Camden Ross.
The family would like to sincerely thank Genesis Hospice and the Morrison House staff for their wonderful care.
Visitation will be held at Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main Street, Coshocton, OH 43812 on Tuesday, November 1st, 2022 from 1:00 – 2:00pm with a Celebration of Life beginning at 2:00pm with Pastor Jim Gross officiating.
Memorial contributions can be directed towards, the Morrison Hospice House; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
