Donna J Stubbs

Donna Jeanne Stubbs, 86, of Coshocton passed away at Licking Memorial Palliative Care Unit of Central Ohio Hospice on Tuesday September 24, 2013.

Donna was born in Coshocton on January 23, 1927 to the late George and Lena (Coe) Brushwood.  She had graduated from Coshocton High School in 1944, attended Good Samaritan Nursing School from 1944-1946 and also graduated with her LPN license later in life.

On November 4, 1944 she married William Hahn Stubbs who preceded her in death on August 2, 2003.  She was lifelong member of Grace United Methodist Church.

Donna is survived by her children William “Bill” Stubbs of Coshocton and Susan “Sue” Davis of Coshocton; four grandchildren Anthony (Ann) Stubbs of Belleville, MI, Timothy (Abby) Davis of Woodridge, VA, Melissa (Michael) Balsley of Hampton, VA and Rebecca Cummings of Coshocton; nine great grandchildren Elizabeth, Jack, Hannah Stubbs, Lillian Davis, Carlye and Mackynsi Balsley, Austin Cummings, Sydney and Arielle Marshall; sister in law Joyce Brannan of Coshocton; several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her brothers George, John and Daniel Brushwood; sisters LeMardred Brushwood, Thelma Carr and Linna Teale.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Friday September 27, 2013 from 6:00 PM -8:00 PM.  Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Saturday at 10:00 AM with Pastor Craig Redecker officiating.  Interment will follow in South Lawn Cemetery.
