T. Dorothy Ames, age 87, of Coshocton died June 8, 2015. Dorothy was born in Coshocton on December 19, 1927 to Donald and Ruby Groce.
Dorothy was previously employed at Montgomery Wards and Jean Frocks. She was a member of the Coshocton Eagles Auxiliary. Dorothy is survived by her son, David (Jean) Taylor, her sister Corky Hall, special granddaughter Tammy (Jerry) Williamson, sister-in-law Gene Ames, several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren,
special friends Bonnie and Bob Nelson and her faithful companion, Mia.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jack Ames, sister Ellen Jean Ferne and daughter Patricia Stout.
Following cremation, a graveside service will be held at Fairfield Cemetery, West Lafayette, Ohio on Saturday June 13th at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. William Buckeye officiating.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Coshocton Humane Society.
