D.R. Welling

Durward "D.R." Welling, 88, of Conesville passed away at his home on Monday July 30, 2012. D.R. was born to the late George and Hosanna (Baker) Welling in New Bedford, Ohio on May 10, 1924. He graduated from Baltic High School in 1942, was a member of the Presbyterian Church since 1957, retired from Conrail in 1981 after 35 years of service and was a member of NARVE Unit-22. D.R. is survived by his loving wife Betty (Hahn) Welling whom he married in 1946; several caring nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers Paul and Carroll Welling and a sister Bessie Lorenz. Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton, Ohio on Wednesday August 1, 2012 from 12:00-2:00 PM where funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM with Pastor Bill McClelland officiating. Interment will follow in Coshocton County Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be directed to Health Services of Coshocton County and/or The Presbyterian Church of Dresden, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
