Earl W. Lucas, 62, of West Lafayette, passed away at his home on Thursday December 29, 2016.
Earl was born in Steubenville, Ohio on August 31, 1954.
He was a journeyman ironworker and loved spending time with his family and the outdoors. Earl enjoyed fishing, canning, mushroom hunting, listening to music, singing and playing guitar.
He is survived by his two sons Earl Lucas Jr. of Mt. Vernon and Buck I. Lucas of Coshocton; a daughter Rain Lucas of Mooresville, NC; his mother Dolores (Utzler) Lucas of Goshen, IN; eight grandchildren; four sisters Earlene Nelson of Goshen, IN, Karolyn Ayres of St. Petersburg, ND, Susan Lucas of Goshen, IN and Jayne (Jeff) Garrity of Grand Ledge, MI; a brother Eric (Kim) Lucas of Goshen, IN; a loving companion Tiffany Mathias of West Lafayette; several nieces and nephews.
Earl is preceded in death by his father Edgar Earl Lucas and a daughter Alisha Lucas.
Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Monday January 2, 2016 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM where a funeral service will begin at 6:00 PM with Pastor Allen Krieg officiating.
A cremation will take place after the funeral services.
