Eda Mae “Edie” Rodrick, 82, of West Lafayette passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2023, at Lafayette Point Nursing Home.
Edie was born in Holmes County on April 21, 1941, to the late Welker and Rose Ellen (Wright) Lowe.
She was a homemaker and caregiver throughout her life and a member of Shepherd’s Christian Assembly Church. Many of her church members and friends enjoyed the homemade cookies Edie would share with them.
Edie is survived by her two daughters Roxann D. (Ed) Dennison of West Lafayette and Sandy (Lonne Kirk) Weltman of Middletown; one sister Ellen Joy McCollum of Millersburg; grandchildren Stephanie & Shaina Weekley, Jeremy (Randi) Burkey, Rachel (Jaron Fallon) Burkey, Michael S. (Alisha) Burkey, Brandy (Shawn) Barnard and Mandy (Bobby) Myers; twelve great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her son-in-law Michael “Dave” Burkey; sister Patsy Ross; former husband Carl D. Lawrence; nephew Chuck Wengerd; great nephew Michael Barnes and brother-in-law Tom McCollum.
Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Saturday, August 19, 2023, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM where funeral services for Edie will begin at 12:00 PM Noon with Starkey Lawrence officiating. Interment will follow in Fairfield Cemetery, West Lafayette.
