Edward Forney Warden, 93, of Coshocton passed away at Signature Healthcare of Coshocton, surrounded by his loving family on Monday July 26, 2021.
Ed was born in Kimbolton, Ohio on May 16, 1928 to the late Robert “Bundy” J. and Florence A. (Forney) Warden.
He worked at Heller Bros, General Electric, Coshocton Grain Company and Woolen Mill. Ed and his wife Marna also owned and operated “Warden’s Food Market” in West Lafayette. Ed retired early, but still enjoyed working as a meat cutter, which he loved.
Ed is survived by his devoted wife of seventy-three years, Marna D. (Gephart) Warden whom he married December 13, 1947; two children Linda (Mike) Holder of Winter Haven, FL and Jim (Mona) Warden of Warsaw; one sister Jeannie (Larry) Gable of Cambridge; grandchildren Michelle (Mike) Force, Nikki (Matt) Smith, Craig (Brandi) Holder, Ryan (Christy) Warden, Jamie (Becky) Warden and Julie (Randy) Leist; one step granddaughter Kim (Jeff) Garrard; thirteen great grandchildren; eleven great-great grandchildren.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Don Warden and great granddaughter Ashley Hamilton.
Private family funeral services will be held at The Miller Funeral Home, Coshocton with burial to follow in Fairfield Cemetery, West Lafayette.
