Biography

Esther M. Eaton, 85, of Coshocton passed away at Autumn Health Care Center, Coshocton on Saturday October 29, 2011. Esther was born in Coshocton on September 29, 1926 to the late John F. and Evelyn M. (Porter) Hawkins. She graduated from Roscoe High School and retired from Coshocton Hospital as an RN after 35 years of service. On August 28, 1947 she married Charles "Tom" Eaton who preceded her in death in 2002. Esther was also a member of the Central Christian Church where she was an Elder Emeritus. Survived by her two sons Charles "Tom" (Muncy) Eaton Jr. of Coshocton and James Randall (Christine) Eaton of Dayton; two daughters Andrea L. (Paul) Yaw and Deborah L. (Greg) Dobson both of Coshocton; 14 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; special aunt Marjorie Woods of TX. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Tom; sister Joanne Sharier; one grandchild and one great grandchild. Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Monday October 31, 2011 from 10-11 AM where funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM with Rev. Philip Hunt officiating. Interment will follow in South Lawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Central Christian Church Memorial Fund, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
