Evelyn D (Norman) Harden

Evelyn “Darlene” Harden, age 81, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at Riverside Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Newcomerstown.  She was born on July 10, 1942, in Guernsey County to the late Orange Luther and Emma Verena (Earnest) Norman.  Darlene obtained her associates degree and worked as a secretary.

Darlene loved singing and playing music with her late husband Bill, playing Rummikub with her family and going gambling with her friends.

She is survived by her brother Jerry (Shirley) Norman; stepchildren, Jenny Allen, Karen (Mark) Kline and Billy (Michelle) Harden; grandchildren, Erin Harden, Gregory Harden, Samantha Whitaker and Zacharian Morris; step-grandchildren, Johnny, Mike, Katie, Julie, Blake, Billy and Bristol; five great grandchildren and eleven step great-grandchildren; and her beloved feline companion, Sweet Tart.

Darlene is preceded in death by first husband, Warren Wilson and second husband, Bill Harden, whom she was married to for 46 years; children, Scott Wilson, Gregory Wilson, Connie Wilson Whitaker and Eric Harden; brother, Robert Norman and two grandsons, Logan and Justin.

A cremation will take place at this time with The Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, Coshocton and burial will be at the Jones Chapel Cemetery in Campbellsville, Kentucky at a later date.
