Evelyn M. Huff, 86, of Coshocton passed away on Wednesday afternoon of December 18, 2013 at Wesley Glen Retirement Community in Worthington, Ohio.
Born on January 27, 1927, in Madison Twp, Muskingum County near Dresden, to the late William H. and Katie (Dickey) Skinner and was a life-long resident of Dresden, Ohio, and Coshocton County. She graduated from Jefferson High School in 1945, and had worked at the First Trust and Savings Bank in Dresden from 1945-1949.
In 1949, Evelyn married Donnis E. Huff, and they celebrated 63 years of marriage in December 2012, Donnis passed away in September of this year. She was a member of Dresden United Methodist Church and Grace United Methodist Church in Coshocton.
Evelyn is survived by her two sons, Duane (Kay) Huff of Westerville, and Roger (Marcia) Huff of Holland, Michigan. Grandchildren: Ross Huff, Kate (Carl) Kraley, Alison (Ryan) Cooper, Craig Kupchick, and Tyler Kupchick; great-grandson, Jason Walker Kraley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her husband and parents, Evelyn is preceded in death by brothers Raymond and Ernest Skinner and sisters Alice Prince and Mabel Bowden.
Funeral services will be held at Grace United Methodist Church, 422 Walnut Street in Coshocton on February 1, 2014 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Craig Redecker officiating. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service. A reception at the church will immediately follow the service, and interment at Valley View Cemetery, Warsaw OH.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a memorial contributions to Health Services of Coshocton, Home Health Division, P.O. Box 1284, Coshocton, OH 43812. The Miller Funeral Home, Coshocton is serving the family.
