Life Legacy

Frances Boyce Smith, 88, of Coshocton passed away at Coshocton County Memorial Hospital on Tuesday May 3, 2011. Frances was born in Coshocton to the late Charles and Ivy (Dorsey) Boyce on January 6, 1923. She served in the United States Military as a nurse at the hospital in Cambridge, Ohio during WW II. Frances also worked for over 20 years as an Anesthesiologist at the Coshocton County Memorial Hospital. She is survived by her son Rocky (Elaine) Smith of Coshocton; grandchildren Drew, Marc and Lael; several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. A graveside funeral service will be held in Canal Lewisville Cemetery on Friday May 6, 2011 at 12:00 PM Noon with Pastor Mark Granger officiating. Coshocton County Veterans Council will perform military honors for Frances at the cemetery.
