Gary Lynn Bluck

February 26, 1944 — November 30, 2016

Gary Lynn Bluck, 72, died at 5:10 pm on November 30, 2016 following a brief illness.  He passed peacefully surrounded by his loving children at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

Gary was born on February 26, 1944 to Dorothea (Wilkin) and the late Marion Bluck.

After graduation from West Lafayette High School in 1962, Gary joined the Army Reserve for 6 years and spent most of his adult life working at his family business, Bluck & Sons, Inc. Gary enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren as well as restoring antique Massey Ferguson Tractors.

Gary was preceded in death by his father Marion Bluck.

Gary will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Dorothea (Wilkin) Bluck and his children, Tracy and his wife Jennifer (Loos) Bluck, Julie (Bluck) Rassman, and Rusty and his wife Melissa (Chidester) Bluck.  Gary will also be fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Kalynn (Bluck) and her husband Dakota Alberston, Laken Bluck and Karrie Bluck, Zachary and Matthew Rassman, Sophia, Ruby, and Sunshine Bluck and soon to be great granddaughter, Baby Albertson.  Gary will be missed by his two brothers, Dennis Bluck and Richard Bluck and his family, as well as many friends.

Gary touched the lives of many people with his smile and kindness.

A celebration of Gary’s life will be held at West Lafayette First Baptist Church in the Fireside room, 688 East Main Street West Lafayette, OH 43845 on Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 3- 4 pm with a memorial service beginning at 4 pm with Rev. Jim Evans officiating.

Memorial donations in memory of Gary can be made to the American Cancer Society P.O. Box 22478 Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
