Gary Darling

Gary E. Darling, 72, of Fresno passed away Sunday, November 3, 2024 at Aultman Hospital in Canton. He was born in Coshocton, Ohio on September 15, 1952 to the late John Darling II and Loretta (Holmes) Darling.

Gary graduated from Coshocton High School and Columbus State as a Certified Dental Tech. He was the owner/operator of Gold Dental Lab. He was an avid outdoorsman, he loved mushroom hunting, deer hunting, and fishing. He was a member of the Coshocton Moose Lodge, Eagles Lodge, and the AMVETS; where he enjoyed paying shuffleboard.

Gary is survived by his wife, Shelly (Lillibridge) Darling, who he married November 29, 1972; children Carrie (Brad) Byers and Cayse Darling; grandchildren Lexie and Corey Phillips and Ethan and Gavin Byers; his faithful companion, Phatt Katt; and sister Debbie Groves.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers John and Tom Darling.

Per Gary's wishes a cremation will take place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The Miller Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family.
