Gladys Nelson

Gladys Nelson, age 65, of Coshocton passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at the Community Hospice Truman House in New Philadelphia. She was born on August 25, 1957 in Coshocton to the late Ada (Wilson) Walters and Delmar Rice. On June 15, 1974, she married James Nelson, who survives. Gladys was a homemaker, raising her children. She loved her family and also enjoyed reading and watching TV.

Along with her husband, she is survived by her children, Stephanie Harrah, Jimmy (Kellie) Nelson and Stoney Nelson, all of Coshocton; grandchildren, Kathryn (Zach) Price, Seth Harrah, Amber Nelson, Skylar Nelson and Deacon Guilliams; three great grandchildren and siblings, Bonnie (Dick) Zimmer, Shelia Haley, Donald Rice, Theresa (Jerry) Angelo, David Rice, Dustin Rice and Delray Rice.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her step-father, Bill Walters and brother, Delmar Lee Rice.

Calling hours will be at The Miller Funeral Home on Monday July 3, 2023 from 4pm to 6pm. The funeral service will begin at the funeral home at 6pm with Pastor Mark Granger officiating.
